The 'Contoured Coasters' collection began with The Lake District but has since expanded to feature areas of Scotland, Wales, the Peak District and also includes sets of the National Three Peaks & The Yorkshire Three Peaks.
There are six coasters in the Peak District range featuring popular hills in the national park, and three featuring The Pennine Way.
You can pick 'n' mix your favourite designs (across the entire range) when purchasing these coasters. Simply let me know your choices upon checkout or via the Contact page.
There are six different designs to chose from in The Peak District range, all of which can be seen in the photos:
• Black Hill
• Kinder Scout
• Mam Tor
• Shining Tor
• Win Hill
Each Contoured Coaster design starts on the computer where I digitally recreate all the 50m contours, popular summits, any lakes, reservoirs or tarns, roads and place names. They are then laser etched and cut from oak veneered plywood, sealed with Danish oil, inset with blue tinted acrylic in place of water and finished with bright orange felt to protect your coffee table. They are highly accurate to a scale of 1:25000; although it's perhaps best not to use them to go walking!
Coasters are available to buy individually, as sets of four, or as sets of six. A coaster holder, made from the same materials as the coasters, is also available for sets of four and six at an additional cost (see the drop down menu).
Coaster holders can be personalised with a message of your choice, and there is also the option to add a laser-etched gift tag to your packaging. Both are available to buy as separate listings in the shop.
I often make coasters to order so please expect 3-5 business days before they are ready to be posted out to you. Time of delivery from that point depends on your location and postal service. If you require your coasters by a certain date just drop me a message and I'll try my best to make it happen.
